Jeannine Perkins

Jeannine Perkins, 91, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on May 8, 2022. Jeannine was born in Winooski, Vermont in 1930, to loving parents Eva and George. She graduated from Fanny Allen Nursing College and worked as an O.R. nurse throughout her career. She was married to her best friend, Bruce Perkins, for over 55 years. Jeannine was at her happiest when she was busy helping others, not only as a nurse, but through numerous volunteer experiences. She also loved traveling, skiing, playing bridge, and baking. Her outgoing personality, welcoming hospitality, and optimistic outlook brought sunshine to people throughout her life, including those of her Winslow family over the last few years.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her husband Bruce. She is survived by her 3 daughters and their spouses: Lisa and Ron Callahan of Bartlett, IL, Cindy and Rick Weaver of Fort Collins, CO, and Lynda Perkins and Michael Summa of Salt Lake City, UT. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Charlie, Audrey, and Jack Callahan, Zach and Kylie Weaver, and Ben and Will Summa.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the Larimer County Food bank or Pathways Hospice.
