Jeffrey Scott Weaver was born on January 6, 1966 in Medford, Oregon to Miles Franklin Weaver lll and Suzanne Ethel (Rogers) Weaver Teague. He passed away in his sleep, at home, on June 9, 2026.
Jeff was an Eagle Scout and grew up immersed in nature, starting at Mt. Rainier in Washington. He was joined by his younger brother, Andrew, and together they explored every trail possible. At age five he began piano lessons which sparked a love and passion for music that held throughout his life.
At age seven the family was transferred to Parkdale, Oregon and then finally to Delta, Colorado where he graduated high school in 1984. He then studied electrical engineering at Colorado State University. After completing his Masters in 1995, he began his career with Hewlett-Packard (HP) and moved to Boise, Idaho where his two children, Erin and Matthew, were born.
Colorado called him home in 2000, where he built a long and distinguished career in Fort Collins. After completing numerous patents and a few years of traveling the world, Jeff settled down at Analog Devices (ADI) and ultimately retired in 2025 from Woodward Governor.
Throughout his life, Jeff particularly enjoyed Star Trek, riding his motorcycle, and aged cheese. He spent his final years appreciating music, cooking delicious food, reveling in sunsets and playing with his cats.
He is survived by his children, Erin Weaver and Matthew Weaver (Danielle); his brother, Andrew Weaver (Jenny and Joshua); his stepmother, Sheri Weaver; his mother, Suzanne Teague (Lee); numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Miles Franklin Weaver lll.
