Jennifer Joy Dreiling

Jennifer Joy Dreiling, age 43 of Ft. Collins, passed away at her home on May 16, 2023. She was born on July 26, 1979 in Ft. Collins to Larry and Elaine Dreiling, and attended elementary and high school in Laporte, Colorado, followed by Poudre High School in Ft. Collins.

Jennifer has worked a few roles over the years from assembly work with Plastec Products and Fiberlok, to an Assistant Program Supervisor at Foothills Gateway, and a Paraprofessional at Wellington Middle School. Jennifer really enjoyed serving people and probably felt most comfortable at her hometown Pizza Shop, working for and alongside a long-time family friend James Buck, owner of Laporte Pizza. She loved to bring a smile to everyone's day with a witty, sarcastic, to the point attitude, tempered with that mothering tone for which she was known.

Jennifer loved being creative and enjoyed multiple different crafts; ceramics, stamping, scrapbooking, crochet, making all natural soaps and lotions using essential oils, and stained glass. Most recently she started making creative signs with beautiful, cute, and inspiring quotes which seems to have brought her much happiness over the last few months. Jennifer also loved playing in the dirt, growing her own fruits and vegetables, and planting beautiful flowers. Most of all, Jennifer loved spending time with her 2 children, whether it was just watching a movie, playing pool, or sitting around the table with a board game.

She is preceded in death by her first-born daughter Isabella Joy Dreiling; aunt Cindy Whitney; aunt Cheryl Hagemeister; aunt Patty Collins, uncle Randy Collins; grandfather Samuel Weitzel; grandfather Raymond Dreiling; grandmother Joyce Dreiling; grandparents Leata and Richard Dangler; and parents Larry and Elaine Dreiling.

She is survived by her son Gavin Blair; daughter Faith Dreiling; sister Lori (Twain) Sauvageau; niece Lily Hill; nephew Hayden Hill; brother Tad Dreiling and his family Sandra Geling and Jared Geling; uncle Don (Lynn) Weitzel; uncle Rod Hagemeister; aunt Debbie (Phil) James; uncle Joe (Dianne) Dreiling; aunt Suzy Dreiling; uncle Tony (Marci) Dreiling; uncle Randy Dreiling; uncle Randall Dangler; uncle Thomas (Margie) Dangler; uncle Richard G (Sorcha) Dangler; uncle Jim (Viola) Dangler; uncle Paul (Julie) Dangler; Vicki Gorum; numerous cousins; and friends.

There will be an Open House/Celebration of Life at the Dreiling Residence - 329 Buckeye Ave., Johnstown, CO, 80534 from Noon to 4:00PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
