Jennifer Jean Lebsack

d. Oct 13, 2025

Jennifer Jean Lebsack, 72, passed away peacefully Monday, October 13, 2025 at her home in a
memory care facility in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Jennifer was born July 24, 1953 in Torrington, Wyoming to LeRoy and Rose Lebsack. She was
their second child and first daughter, of a total of five children. The family lived in small towns in
Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, and Idaho, settling in Laramie by 1965, where she attended
junior high and high school. After graduating, she began a 43-year career at the University of
Wyoming, retiring as Business Manager, Dean's Office, in the College of Education in 2015. She
moved to Colorado a few years after her retirement to be closer to family.

Jennifer was a cherished member of her family, whom she cared for deeply and generously.
She was a devoted daughter and her four siblings and many nieces and nephews were among
her closest friends. She was able to enjoy the next generation of great nieces and nephews as
well.

She enjoyed traveling, roadtrips, and driving. She loved music and having a good time. She had
a passion for the simple things in life. While Jennifer did receive awards, accolades and achieve
many milestones throughout her life, what truly mattered to her and defined her was her strong
understated character, integrity, and a solid personal Christian faith that guided her.

Jen lived her last year at Mackenzie Place in Fort Collins where her dignity, independent nature
and full personality thrived. She loved to laugh and had a fun sense of humor. She spent many
days outside in the courtyard walking countless laps and basking in the sun - sporting a nice tan
to prove it! She was a facility favorite and had the love, dedication and friendship of her
caregivers to include the Opal staff, her Bristol hospice team, and visitors; with gratitude extended
to Dr. Angela Mills with Bloom Healthcare as well.

Jennifer, "Jen," will be sorely missed and celebrated by her brothers and sister: Stephen
(Debbie) of Laramie, Wyoming, Gary of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Bryan (Lora) of Fort Collins,
Colorado, and Sandra (Scott) Anderson of Timnath, Colorado; her nieces and nephews: Casey
(Kevin) Cook of Wyoming, Carl (Tegwin) Lebsack of Maine, Tarah Lebsack of Wyoming, Mary
(Aaron) Hudlemeyer of New Mexico, David (Sarah) Lebsack of Colorado, Rachel (Sam)
Weinstock of Colorado, and Laurel VerBurg of New Mexico; and her great nieces and nephews:
James, William, Elliot, and Mitchell Hudlemeyer; Naomi, Abraham, and Chloe VerBurg; Libby
Lebsack; Evie and Jack Weinstock; and Lucy and LeRoy Lebsack. She was preceded in death
by her parents.

A private family celebration will be held at a later time. We extend the love of our dear Jen and
hope you remember her fondly.
