It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessica Tasa (Mufdy), who left us peacefully on November 23, 2024, at her home in Fort Collins, Colorado. Jessica was born on January 14, 1973, in Toronto, Canada, to her parents Romeo Mufdy and Jennifer Oliver.
Jessica graduated from Father John Redmond High School in 1992 and went on to earn her Nursing Diploma from Humber College in 1995. Her lifelong commitment to caring for others led her to work in many nursing fields, where she touched countless lives as a dedicated and compassionate healer.
After graduation, Jessica moved to Texas, where she met her future husband, Kerry. They were married in 1998 and, in 1999, moved to Greeley, Colorado, seeking a community and lifestyle that aligned with their values. In 2003, Jessica became the proud mother of a son, Rylan, and in 2005, she welcomed a daughter, Reece. Jessica was deeply proud of her children and cherished her role as a mother.
Jessica had a gift for brightening any room she entered. Her radiant smile and vibrant personality could lift anyone's spirits, and her inner strength served as an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She was a woman who embraced life fully, with a love for travel and a passion for making lasting memories with her family.
She is predeceased by her father, Romeo Mufdy, and her grandparents. Jessica is survived by her loving husband, Kerry; her children, Rylan and Reece; and many family and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
In honor of Jessica's legacy, the family requests that donations be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in her memory. We also encourage loved ones to prioritize their health and schedule regular breast cancer screenings.
A celebration of life will be held on January 14, 2025 with a meet and greet starting at 12:00 p.m. followed by the ceremony at 12:45 p.m. at Ginger and Baker, 359 Linden St., Ft Collins, CO 80524. Please RSVP: EVITE
