Jesusita D. Vinton, 88 of Fort Collins passed on February 28, 2017. She was born on December 25, 1928 in Montell, Texas to Javiel and Maria (Garduna) DeLeon. She was raised with her seven brothers, Joe, Seferino, Eduardo, Aurelio, Ernest, Baldemar and Jose Francisco and three sisters, Aurora, Olga and Dora.
Jesusita was dearly loved by her large and close family. All gatherings and holidays were always spent together with family. She found comfort and was true to her Catholic faith. She loved Tex-Mex music and being with her sons as they played their guitar music. She married the love of her life, the late Joe Mireles Vinton and moved to Colorado in 1972. Jesusita retired after working 21 years at Colorado State University in the Custodial Services/Facilities Management Department.
Jesusita is survived by her son, Ruben (Anita) Vinton of Fort Collins; grandchildren, Aaron (Vicky) Vinton; great-grandchildren, Avery, Gavin and Evan; granddaughter, Heather (Luis) Burgos; great-grandson, Antonio; great-granddaughter, Analicia; son, Randy (Rebecca) Vinton of Greeley; grandson, Colten; son Robert (Julie) of Dodge City, Kansas; grandchild, Joe Vinton; great-grandchildren, Trey and Ava; grandchild, Jubal Vinton; sister, Aurora Garcia; sister, Olga Ramirez; sister Dora Jimenez; brother, Baldemar DeLeon; brother, Eduardo DeLeon; brother, Jose Francisco DeLeon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Vinton and four brothers, Joe, Seferino, Aurelio and Ernest.
