Joanne (Vannorsdel) Agens, age 75, of Fort Collins, passed away on October 9, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Joanne was born in April 1947 in Fort Collins. She was part of the first graduating class at Poudre High School in 1965. She began a successful and lifelong career at the City of Fort Collins the following year, working there until her retirement in 2015. She married Lloyd Agens in 1970 and enjoyed 52 beautiful years together. She loved spending time with family and friends. Everyone who knew Joanne felt welcomed and loved.
Joanne is survived by her loving and devoted husband Lloyd Agens, of Fort Collins, her brother Butch Vannorsdel, daughter Lori Heustis, granddaughter Shanel Cass-Caskey (husband Jason) and their three children Jude, Alice, and Arthur, and granddaughter Shilo Anderson (husband Jeff). Joanne is also survived by her beloved dog, Blossom. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ruby Vannorsdel, and her son Allen Agens.
