Joaquin Fuentes, 68 of Pierce, CO passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on October 22, 2019.
Joaquin was born in Salamance, Spain, came to the U.S. in 1973. He worked for Larimer County Road and Bridge for some 30+ years, where he enjoyed his job, co-workers and friends. Retired and relocated to Pierce, CO where he enjoyed his role as Grandpa and continued his raising sheep and goats. His kindness and friendship touched many who came to know him and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Fuentes, son J. Antonio (Crystal), daughter Rebecca and the loves of his life 4 granddaughters, Promise (Omar), Trinity, Tessoro, Luciana, and his great-granddaughter EmberLei.
