John M. Boni Jr.

John was born in Ansonia, CT. He received his BA in English from UCONN, his MA in English at Northeastern and his PhD in English from the University of Denver. He taught Shakespeare for many years at CSU before moving into administration at various universities throughout the country. John returned to Fort Collins after suffering a major stroke in 1997. The Fort Collins community welcomed John and cared for him for the past 20 years. John loved the outdoors, good food, Jazz and Shakespeare. He is survived by his ex-wife, Elaine Boni, his daughter Christine Boni Neuens (Chuck), his Son Carl Boni (Kristal) and 4 grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 22, at 1 pm at Good Samaritan Village, Fort Collins.
