John Francis Glass Jr.

John Francis Glass, Jr., 68, of Fort Collins, CO, passed away in his sleep on October 29, 2024.
John was born on March 24, 1956 to John Sr and Joyce Glass in Fort Collins, CO. He was the oldest of seven children. After John graduated from Poudre High School in 1974, he began his career in construction. He had a long career and retired after nearly 43 years in construction as a superintendent for Heath Construction.

In 1975, John met Susan through her brother, Mike. John and Susan were married in 1978. His in-laws loved him. His mother-in-law, Anne, felt blessed to have him as a son-in-law. He always called her mom. John and Susan went on to have five children: John III, Julie, Jennifer, Justin, and Jared. John and Susan raised their children just a few hundred yards from where John grew up! It was a special place where family and friends gather for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions. He loved his children and his favorite niece, Cristin, but he loved his grandchildren even more! At the time of his passing, he had fifteen grandchildren with another on the way and one great-grandchild on the way. His favorite thing to do with them was to teach them the bad things their parents did when they were little and then tell them to go back home and do them! He was a fan favorite.

John was predeceased by John Sr, Joyce, Joy, and Jim Glass. He is survived by his wife, Susan, son John (Laurie), daughter Julie, daughter Jennifer, son Justin (Kali), son Jared (Brady), their children and several other extended family members.

He was one of the good ones and he will be missed.
