Jack Richard, 67 of Fort Collins, Colorado died, November 2, 2014.
"Jack" or "Cactus Jack" as he was known to his friends and family was born on November 7, 1946 in Bronx, New York to John Joseph Richard and Mary (Murray) Richard. He spent his childhood with his sister, Maryann and parents on the East Coast.
Jack graduated from Monmouth College in New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in Business and went on to earn his MBA. In 1974 Jack married Janet M. Richard in Minot, North Dakota. Jack began his military career as a pilot with the United States Air Force in 1970 and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1990. Later, he continued his career in aviation and retired as a Captain for Frontier Airlines.
Cactus Jack is survived by his wife, Janet Richard of Loveland; daughter, Elizabeth Richard of Ft. Collins, CO; grandsons, Seamus Armstrong and Jack Ramsey; and sister, Maryann D'Amico of Central Valley, NY.
