Joseph (Joe) Kevin Hart, age 64, passed away on Saturday, April 10th from early onset Alzheimer's disease. Joe was born November 11, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in Brooklyn, Long Island, NY and Ringwood, NJ. He graduated from William Paterson University. In 1979, he moved to Colorado. Joe worked at IBM for over 32 years in Boulder, Colorado.
Joe is survived by his wife Amy, sons, Conor and Ryan, daughter Katie and son-in-law Logan. He is also survived by his parents Joseph and Dorothy and siblings, Dan, Tom (Deb), Dot (John) and Bob (Jenn) and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
The Hart family would like to thank Joe's at-home caregivers, Aspen House and especially, Elderhaus for taking such great care of him.
Joe loved the outdoors, climbing 14ers with his brothers, skiing, Boy Scouts, camping and being with his family. A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, June 12th from 12:00-3:00pm at Elderhaus in Fort Collins.
