Judith "Judy" Ann Feyen, 77, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was surrounded by John, her loving husband of 56 years, her children, grandchildren, sister, and other family at the time she was called home to her Lord.
Judy, the 2nd of 4 children born to Gerald and Mary Lange, was raised in Iowa and started a career at Cartridge Pack doing keypunch entry. This is where she met the love of her life, John. Even though she immediately said yes when he asked her out the first time, it took him a great deal of persistence, and an assist from his future mother-in-law, before Judy finally agreed to marry him. Married in 1965, they raised 3 sons and lived throughout Iowa and Wisconsin before settling in Fort Collins in 1983.
She loved the outdoors and was always ready for an adventure, whether that was camping, riding her 4-wheeler, or zip-lining through the forests of Colorado and the jungles of Mexico. In her final days, she spoke of her desire to return home so she could see her beloved mountains one last time.
Judy loved her family and relished being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She is survived by her husband, John, and her three sons and their families, John J. & Cheryl Feyen of Loveland, Tim of Loveland, and David & Taunya Feyen of Johnstown. She is also survived by her sister, Cheryl Lange, from Iowa. The grandchildren, Cole, Jeffrey, Kade, Abigail, Sydney, & Paityn, always held a special spot in her heart and brought her the biggest smiles and an overflowing bounty of joy.
