Katherine A. Novachek (Kathi) passed away April 24, 2015 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado of lung cancer.
Kathi was born April 21, 1960 in Madison, Wisconsin to Francis and Judy Novachek. She graduated from St. Mary School in Bethel CT, Immaculate High School in Danbury CT and the University of Connecticut. Kathi graduated with a PhD in Chemistry from Colorado State University, in Fort Collins; and has lived and worked in Colorado for more than 25 years.
In addition to her parents, Kathi is survived by a brother Mark of Dallas TX; a niece, Amanda of Boone, NC; an aunt Charlotte Getter of Viroqua, WI; uncles John and Verlyn Clark of Wisconsin; numerous cousins; her best friends Mary, Maggie, Jo, Darlene and many friends and coworkers. She was preceded in death by a sister Sarah.
Memorials may be made to the Poudre Valley Hospital "PVH" Foundation Oncology Department, 2315 E. Harmony Road, Ste. #200, Fort Collins, CO 80528.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, April 27, 2015 at Forney Industries, 3900 Canal Drive, Fort Collins, CO.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM June 12th, 2015 at St. Patrick Church, Redding Ridge, CT.
