Kathleen Hess

Kathleen Reeder Hess of Fort Collins, CO passed away on Nov. 26, 2011 at the age of 60 due to health complications. Kathleen was known for her love of music, her extreme generosity, and was loved by everyone. She was a wonderful wife and an amazing mother. She was born August 16, 1951 in Ithaca, NY to William Woodland Reeder and Letty Eckensberger Reeder. She has also lived in California and Utah. She served a mission in Chile where she enriched the lives of others. Kathleen was a life-long learner. She received a BA in Music Education from Brigham Young University and an MBA in Procurement from Golden Gate University. She worked many years for Hewlett Packard and most recently for Avago Technologies as a purchaser. Kathleen was preceded in death by her father William Douglas Reeder. Her survivors include her husband Richard; her children Christina, Hannah, Elizabeth and Paul; her mother Letty; her sisters Claudia and Kimberly; her brother Douglas; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 1320 West Harmony Road in Fort Collins, CO on Saturday December 3 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing at the church between the hours of 9:00-10:30 a.m. for those who wish to say their goodbyes.
