Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Rinck, age 67, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado after a lengthy battle with a series of debilitating illnesses.
She was born on August 30, 1949 to John and Margie Bell in Omaha, Nebraska. Kathy graduated from Omaha South High School in 1967 and then worked as a printing press operator for most of her life. She moved to Colorado in 2005 after her health started declining, so she could be with her only daughter.
Kathy had a special gift of drawing others to her with her smile and warm personality. Strangers would often strike up conversations with her in lines at the store and share their stories with her. She made many close friends at the Courtyard of Loveland, where she lived the last seven years, and held her family very close to her heart.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Bell. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Marchio and son-in-law, Jeff Marchio of CO; sisters, Patti Arcishewsky (Joe) and Barbara Arent (Robert) of Omaha; brothers, Gerald Bell (Staci) and Mark Bell (Karen) of Omaha; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will take place Monday, June 12th at 1:00 PM at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Fort Collins, Colorado, followed by a reception.
