Kathy Bettinghouse, age 55 of Fort Collins, CO died August 4, 2009 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15th at Timberline Church in the South Auditorium. Kathleen Fay Walker was born July 19, 1954 to Earl and Betty Lou Walker in Greeley, CO. Her family moved to Fort Collins and she graduated in 1972 from Ft. Collins High School where she played French horn in the orchestra and was Homecoming Queen. Kathy graduated from CSU in 1978 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree majoring in Graphic Design. Soon after graduation, she married Clifford Bettinghouse on June 9, 1978 in Ft. Collins. Kathy worked for 24 years with Hewlett-Packard as a Patent Illustrator and doing other design work. She left HP in 1997 and began her own Patent Illustration Company. Kathy attended Timberline Church and The Meeting Place. She is survived by her husband, Cliff; son, Jim; Mother, Betty Walker and brother, Dan Walker. Her son Matt, died two years ago and she was also preceded in death by her father, Earl.
