Kathryn A. Martin, Malter, Wager was born September 1, 1938 in Dansville, NY to James and Ita Martin. She graduated from Dansville High School in 1955 at the age of 16. She has been a hard worker her whole life. She worked for the county, drove a school bus, and worked at the local bank in Wayland, NY before moving to Colorado with her family in 1971. In Colorado she proceeded to become a licensed Beautician, then a Waitress, and ended her career as a Realtor for 17 years.
She loved her family and friends and enjoyed whoever stopped by. She knew no stranger. She loved to work in her yard and get a tan. She enjoyed softball, and ceramics, walking, and traveling. She also was a true animal lover.
She is preceded in death by her first husband William Malter, her parents James and Ita (Reagan) Martin, her brother Daniel "Danny" and his wife JoAnn Martin, her brother John "Jackie" Martin and his wife Linda Martin, and her granddaughter Christine Kelley.
She leaves behind her husband Larry Wager, her special companion Terry Walsh, her brother James "Paddy" Martin (Peggy), her daughters Kim Kelley (Tim Cole), Jill Wilkes (Mike) and Amy Tjardes (Bill); 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren along with a lot of extended family.
Recitation of the Rosary will take place at 10:30 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins. Services will also be live streamed at either of the following links for those who are unable to attend.
