Kati Lyn Perdue

Kati Lyn Perdue, 36, of Loveland, Colorado, died January 12, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Kati was born in Denver, CO to Bill and Chris Arbegast. She graduated from Chatfield Senior High. She loved playing softball and running track and she still holds the school record for pole vaulting. She enjoyed attending youth group and girl's bible studies. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado, where she also played rugby.

Kati cared for so many people and was called to serve as a dedicated E.M.T. and cardiovascular technician. She cherished being a mother to Jackson and Cody and loved them to the moon and back. Kati and Ryan Perdue got married on their property in Loveland against the backdrop of Long's Peak. She spent her last days at home with her boys, her family, and her friends as we watched the pink sunset fall behind that same view of Long's Peak. Kati lit up every room she entered and was the life of the party. She loved generously and with her entire heart. She will always be remembered as an incredibly loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Kati is survived by her husband Ryan Perdue, her sons Jackson Patterson and Cody Patterson, her mother Chris Arbegast, her sister Leanne (Ryan) Stover, and numerous other family members. Through her life and work, Kati was always surrounded by family and friends. Because she was loved by so many, she had an amazing support group through her cancer journey. She had a personal relationship with the Lord and has now been called home to her Savior.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Kati's entire oncology team at UCHealth for their care, compassion, and support throughout Kati's treatment for breast cancer. In memory of Kati, the family welcomes a donation to UCHealth Cancer Care in Loveland, or to donate blood to your local blood bank. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
