Kenneth D. Landen

Jun 24, 1934 — Mar 21, 2014

Kenneth D Landen was born June 24, 1934 in Greeley Nebraska to Oscar and Elaine Landen. Ken passed away at home on March 21, 2014.

When Ken was 7 years old his family moved to Hastings Nebraska. After high school, he worked in construction and learned the trade of wall and floor covering and counter tops. Ken enjoyed this for 55 years. He enlisted in the army and served with the 1st Calvary Artillery Survey Division in Japan. Upon his honorable discharged in 1957 he moved to Littleton Colorado and met his wife to be, Margie. They were married April 8, 1960.When Ken retired, he spent many enjoyable days in his "Dog House" at his hobby of leather crafting.

Ken is survived by his wife Margie, daughter Dawn Swanbom of Greeley Colorado, son Byron of Colorado Springs Colorado, granddaughter Hannah Swanbom of Casper Wyoming, grandson Lief of Greeley Colorado sisters Ellen Landen and Jan Barton of Montrose Colorado and Margie Rak of Arvada Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Royce and Robert.

Ken's wish was that there be no service.

I would like to thank Pathways Hospice for all their support and care of Ken the past months and especially Barb and Mary. Your kindness will always be remembered.
