Kenneth G. McCauley(Ken) passed away on February 6th,2015 in Windsor,CO after a protracted battle with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind his two children Heather McCauley and Kenneth H. McCauley and his grand-daughter Brooklyn McCauley.
Ken was born on August 23rd,1952 in Huntington, West Virginia to Leonard and Zelma McCauley. He grew up in a large family with three sisters and two brothers. He attended college for Dental Lab Technology and owned his own dental labs-D & K Dental Lab and Black River Dental lab for over thirty years.
Ken was a driven professional with a love of the outdoors, laughing, artwork and being with his family. He loved his children and was very proud of their accomplishments which included his daughter graduating from University of Minnesota in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and in 2014 a Master of Adult Education. His son Kenny graduated in 2004 from Alexandria Tech with his Associate degree in Small Engine repair.
He is survived by his mother Zelma McCauley, brothers Vinnie McCauley and Christopher McCauley, as well as his sisters,Linda Trumpfellar, Donna Smith and Joyce Keithman. He is preceded in death by his father Leonard McCauley.
Ken requested to be cremated. A memorial service will be held on February 21st for his family in Windsor,CO. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Ken Mccauley Memorial Fund,124 Sunflower Drive,Windsor,CO 80550.
