Kent Higgins

Kent David Higgins, devoted husband, father, grandfather, passed away on January 23rd at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old.

Kent was born in Corsicana, Texas to Don and Roberta Higgins. He grew up on the airport in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Kent received his student pilot's license before he got his drivers license. He was a pilot for Frontier Airlines in Denver, Colorado. Kent married the love of his life, Linda on September 7, l974. They have two sons, David Higgins (Jessica) and Ryan Higgins (Jacquelyne). Two grandsons, Wyatt Higgins and Emmett Higgins. Sister, Diane Shelbourn (Al). Nieces and nephews, Yvette McDaniel, Heather Morris, Mike Morgan, Sandy Kirpalani, Heather Holmes and Jeremy Holmes. Kent enjoyed photography and working on old cameras. He liked riding his bike and was an avid skier. He completed airborne school which included many thrilling parachute jumps.

Charitable donations can be made to the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies (Ft. Collins chapter) in his name or to the family.

Memorial service at Timberline Church will be held 10:00 am, Friday, February 19th in the South Auditorium.
