Kurt Charles Harris, 55, passed away on April 26, 2013 in Fort Collins, Colo.
He was born in Quincy, Ill. on April 14, 1958. Kurt was raised by his parents Gene and Wanda Harris in Colorado, where he and his siblings enjoyed roping, rodeos and ranching. He was one of the few privileged children able to attend the Virginia Dale Schoolhouse.
He later had a family of his own and resided in Fort Collins. He worked as a building inspector for the city of Fort Collins for many years and thoroughly enjoyed serving the public. He was a very kind, social man and a devoted father, brother, son and friend to all who knew him and loved him.
He was survived by his loving parents Gene and Wanda Harris, sister Dianna Holloway, brother Dennis Harris, children Keaton, Kayleigh, and Katie Harris. Several grandchildren, nephew Jerod Holloway, niece Lindsey Yoder and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was met in heaven by his oldest brother Gerald.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 11th, 2013 at 3:00pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on west Elizabeth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kurt "K.C." Harris memorial fund through 1st bank.
