Larry Eugene Tamlin, 79 of Bellvue Colorado died March 14, 2017. He was the youngest son of Francis and Cleta May Tamlin. Larry was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Bellvue, Colorado at the age of 1. Larry resided in the Bellvue area for 79 years, and attended Cash La Poudre schools in La Porte.

Larry worked for Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital for 35 years in maintenance and facilities. Larry loved raising his mules and horses, he was known as quite the horse trader. Larry also enjoyed the outdoors and was always up for a hunting or fishing outing.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte and there 5 kids, David Treuthardt, Rick Tamlin, Christine McCullough and her Husband Wiley Depew, Mike Tamlin and his wife Cherly, Jay Tamlin and his wife Beth.

Larry was very proud to say that he had 13 grandkids and 25 great grandkids. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, teaching them to shoot and telling them stories. You would often hear one of the grandkids say, they learned a lot of life's lessons from their Pa Pa, Larry.

Larry's family meant everything to him; he always enjoyed family get-togethers.

Larry was preceded in death by both parents, 2 bothers and a sister, and a few good hunting dogs.

A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017 at The Bellvue Grange Hall at 2929 North County Road 23 Bellvue, Colorado. Please bring a covered dish to share.
