Larry Gene Vincent, 76, of Fort Collins died on June 15, 2020. He was known to everyone as a kind and gentle soul. He led a courageous battle for 10 years against Amyloidosis, a blood disorder. We thank Dr. Scott and Dr. McSweeney for their care and compassion for our "Miracle Man."
He was born December 3, 1943 in Hitchins, KY, a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Penny Horgen Vincent of Fort Collins; son Aaron Vincent (Pam) of Windsor, daughter Robin Organ (Matt) of Fort Collins; only surviving sister Karan Freimark of Virginia; and four grandsons (Skylar, Cameron, Luke, Ryan).
The family held a Celebration of Life to honor his legacy and love of photography, nature, wood working, and travel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Amyloidosis Foundation at amyloidosis.org (select "This donation is made in dedication to an individual").
