Leroy Kelberlau, 66, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away May 3, 2015. He was born on May 7, 1948 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Boyd Kelberlau and Laura Mummert Kelberlau. He grew up in Wheaton & Lombard in Illinois, until he moved to Fort Collins in 1985.

He was a retired USPS worker; he worked for the Fort Collins office for 17years, retired from USPS in 2010. He also had worked for the Fort Collins office of the IRS, before working at USPS. He graduated from Glenbard East High, and College of DuPage. He was an Air Force Veteran. He liked sports; his favorite teams were the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed reading, writing, and some of his poems were published. He enjoyed eating out and visiting his friends at Match Ups.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy Ryan (Mike) of Sterling, Colorado; nieces Kris Van Laningham (Jeff) of Fort Collins, Colorado; Colleen Ryan of Longmont, Colorado; Michelle Morimitsu (Chris) of Laramie, Wyoming; nephew Eddy Ryan of Sterling, Colorado.

He has been cremated and no services are planned at this time. The family suggests that you celebrate his life, however you chose Lee's favorite saying to me was: Da Bears!
