Lewis Lloyd "Lew" Huff, aged 85, died of natural causes on Sunday Nov 11 in Fort Collins, CO. A small memorial service for Mr. Huff was held at MacKenzie Place on Wednesday, Nov 14.
Mr. Huff worked in the Math Department at CSU for 23 years and lived in Fort Collins from 1965 until his death. An avid outdoors-man and hobbyist, Huff enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, model trains, model boats, and flying radio-controlled airplanes. He and his late wife Dotty Huff were members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church from 1965 until about 2006. He is survived by his son John Huff of Colorado Springs, daughters Mary Huff of Tacoma, WA, Kathryn Drinkard of Seatac, WA, Anna Huff of Louisville, CO, cousin Ruth Ann Dodd of South Carolina, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and dear friends.
The family plans to celebrate their father's life at Shepherd of the Hills in summer 2013.
