Linda Beers

Linda Beers (Peiffer) a beloved resident of Fort Collins, CO passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025, at the age of 80. She passed away in the gentle care of professionals from Mackenzie Place and Bristol Hospice in the company of loved ones after a long journey with dementia.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother Dorthy Hershey (Peiffer) and her father Paul Peiffer. She is survived by her brother, Frank Peiffer of Lancaster and her husband of 61 years, Edward Beers, her children David Beers, Angela Mccluskey and Cindy Roller, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Born on June 27, 1944 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Linda was a cherished member of her community who lived a life marked by kindness, resilience and connection. After high school graduation and a long period of raising her children, Linda became a registered nurse.

Linda's life was characterized by her dedication to family, friendship, and personal growth. She approached each day with curiosity, creativity, and grace, embodying a free-spirited nature and a heart full of goodwill, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Linda's journey from Lancaster to Fort Collins represents a life of movement, making a home for her family with each move, making friends, and welcoming many to an open home. She brought joy to us all wherever she went. She embodied true hospitality with her warm attentive presence.

Linda's memory will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
