Linda Samora

Nov 11, 1953 — Jun 25, 2023

Linda Samora (nee Gallegos), 69, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 430 pm. Linda was born on November 11, 1953, to Alva and Jake Gallegos. Linda grew up in Silverton Colorado and was one of 5 children. She graduated from Silverton High in 1971.

Linda met the love of her life and best friend, Gene Samora when they were young kids living across the street from one another. After both finishing high school, Gene and Linda went onto marry September 19, 1972.

After their wedding Gene and Linda packed up the car and moved to Denver.
Linda and Gene's first-born daughter Kelly Rae was born in Denver on April 22, 1976.
Their second daughter, Bree Leanne, was born September 10, 1979.

Upon arriving in Denver, Linda worked in a local factory. Later, she began working at Euclid Middle School as an attendance secretary, the same school her daughters attended. She then went on to work for Littleton Public Schools in their accounts payable department. Over the course of her time with LPS, she became an integral part of the operations of her office. She had been retired for over 4 years upon her passing.

Not only was she a devoted mother, but Linda was also an incredible grandmother. Linda is survived by her 4 grandchildren: Caleb, Julea, Joseph, and Timothy. She was always the biggest supporter at sports games, school plays, and graduations. She delighted in seeing all of her babies succeed. A strong, powerful matriarch, Linda's kindness, grit, and spirit will live on through them all.

Linda is survived by her husband Gene, her daughters Kelly and Bree, and her 4 grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Jake, Viv, and Rick, and numerous sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration for Linda's life will be held at her home in Centennial, CO. Anybody hoping to attend RSVP on the Evite link attached below.
