Lois Jones 84, born in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2013, after losing her battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was surrounded by her loving family, and several of the caring staff at Golden Peaks nursing facility. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Eleanor Ziegele, and youngest son Bradley Roy Jones.
Lois loved the mountains and the desert, but loved the desert best. She enjoyed fishing, knitting, and was an intense card player. Lois will be greatly missed by all.
Lois is survived in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Harold Jones, daughters, Sandy VanSeveren and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Linda Davis, Fort Collins, Colorado, Sharon Benson, Fort Collins, Colorado, Leslie Loud and husband Alvin of Oak Hill,Florida, Judy Hartman, Holly, Michigan, and son Shawn Jones, Marengo, Iowa. Lois had (10)grandchildren, (16)great grandchildren, and (1)great-great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Vineyard Church of the Rockies on Tuesday, November 20th, for immediate family members only.
