Louis David Stoll, 93 of Fort Collins died Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 5, 1922 to Louis Henry and Edith Grace (Battershell) Stoll. He entered the military in October, 1942 and served in the Western Pacific as a Light Tank Commander 1736. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal of Honor, he departed the Army as Sergeant of the 766th Tank Battalion, December 1945.
Later he married his lovely wife, Margaret Elaine (Guffey) Stoll and together they raised their daughter, Ellen and sons, Joe, Bobby, and Jimmy. In 2007, Margaret passed away. As a civilian, he worked as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for Montgomery Wards.
