Louise Mary Esposito Marchesano was born January 29, 1924 in Manhattan, (East Harlem) and grew up in the Bronx. She graduated from Washington Irving High School, an all-girls high school. On February 9, 1947, Louise married Anthony John Marchesano at Blessed Sacrament Church and together they had three sons (Anthony, Richard and Louis). Her family and her faith were most important to Louise. She will always be remembered for the many holiday traditions she passed along and the many family gatherings she hosted. She and Anthony moved to Plainview, NY where she worked briefly at Buttercrest Bakery and as a bookkeeper for a local Department Store and cash accounting firm. She and Anthony were active members of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Plainview and she taught CCD there for many years. Anthony died in 1998 and in 2001 Louise moved to Fort Collins where she became a member of Blessed John 23rd University Parish. Louise is survived by her sons, Anthony (and his wife, Patricia) of Claverack, NY, Richard of Ft. Collins and Louis (and his partner, Scott King) of Ft. Collins; her daughter-in-law, Joan Stein of Golden, CO; four grandchildren, Rachel Marchesano Digman (husband Christopher) of Rensselaer, NY, Brian Marchesano of Claverack, NY, Laura Marchesano Morris (husband Brandon) and Tony Marchesano both of Ft. Collins; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Samantha Digman; and two brothers, Carmine (wife Marie) and Deacon Robert (wife Anne) Esposito of the Villages, Florida. In addition to her husband, Tony, Louise was preceded in death by her brother Augostino Esposito who died in WWII and her parents Carmine and Anna. Throughout her life she worked to bring people together and often acted as the peacemaker in the family. Her love and devotion touched the lives of many and she was much loved by her family and friends. Her family requests that any memorial donations please be made to one of her favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Louise's memory.
