Lovara H. Rein, 90, of Johnstown, Colorado died on
March 14, 2019 in Loveland, Colorado.
She was born on a farm near Preston, Kansas on April 7, 1928. She was one of 9 children born to her parents Glenn & Helen Shumway.
After the war, she met her true love, Allen Rein, in a small café in Hutchinson, Kansas. They were married on Mother's Day, May 11, 1947. Lovara loved to travel, and spent much of her golden years with her husband as Texas "Snow Birds." She was a firm believer in family values as well as her love for God. Lovara was a contributing member of the Milliken Senior Center.
She is survived by her 4 children: Donald Rein and wife Kathy of Morrison, Colorado; Beverly Evans and husband Jeff of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Kenneth Rein and wife April of Lawrence, Kansas; and Marilyn Sorden and husband Mike of Johnstown, Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, and her "furry friend" Joey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
