Marc Rope, 58, passed away in his home on March 17, 2016.
Marc was a Renaissance man; someone who did a little bit of everything and did it all extremely well. He could soothe a broken heart, instill courage when needed, and teach others strategies for living with mental illness. He was a friend to everyone, had compassion for our frailties, and heartily celebrated our triumphs. His life was full of close friends and laughter, and there was nothing he would not do for any of us. Nonetheless, after a lifetime of fighting major depressive disorder, he chose to die as he lived his life, on his own terms.
We are thankful we had him in our lives and that he is now truly at peace.
