Marcelino Perez

Marcelino M. Perez Jr. (Mickey/Jr.), 57 of Loveland, CO, formerly of Stanton, CA for most of his life, died on January 2, 2020.

Marcelino was born in Orange County, CA to Marcelino and Mary Perez. He attended local elementary schools and graduated from Western High School. He was a man of many skills. He was a washer/dryer repairman, and he did construction, tile setting, drywall installation, and finishing and painting. He was committed to doing a professional job for everyone who hired him. He also loved to go fishing and enjoyed fun times with his brother in law, Alfred Flores in the fishing boat they shared.

He was married to his wife, Christina, for 26 years. He is survived by his daughters, Dianna Campellone, Maria Ashley (son-in-law Tom), Renee Pearson Perez, and Melissa Perez. He was also blessed with 11 grandchildren. Mickey also had 5 sisters and 3 brothers. He was part of a large family which included many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was also very close to his Colorado family which included brothers-in-law David Reyes, Alfred Flores, and sister-in-law Nora Flores.

Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 1730 W. 12th St, Loveland, CO 80537. The reception will follow at 3:00 pm, February 8 at Patina Flats at the Foundry, 296-204 N. Cleveland Ave (5th Floor), Loveland, CO 80537.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Marcelino's final medical expenses. Due to Marcelino's health issues, he was not eligible for life insurance. Thank you to everyone who has already donated and to those who are able to help with future donations. Any donation is truly appreciated.
