Margaret "Margie" L. Waggoner, age 83, of Fort Collins died January 12, at Fort Collins Good Samaritan Village. Margie was born in 1926 in Camby, Indiana to Joseph and Mary Cochran. She grew up in Camby and married Paul Waggoner, Jr. in 1946. She and Paul made their home in Speedway, Indiana. Margie worked as a receptionist for Coca Cola in Speedway for many years. In 1976, Paul was transferred to Oklahoma where they resided until 1990 when they moved to Fort Collins for their retirement. Margie loved Fort Collins and enjoyed all the senior activities available. She volunteered at the Senior Center, Poudre Valley Hospital, Lincoln Center, and sang with the Senior Harmonettes. She is survived by her son, Bill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, her daughter, Mindy Drolet, son-in-law Vince of Fort Collins, grandson, Sean Drolet, granddaughter, Adrienne Drolet, both of Fort Collins, a nephew, nieces, great nieces, and nephews in Indiana. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the generous staff at Fort Collins Good Samaritan Village for the wonderful care they gave her. A memorial service will be held at Good Samaritan Chapel, January 18, 2010 at 1 pm.
