Marie Dorothy Spicer,"Honey" Cannelongo, went home peacefully to her Heavenly Father on Father's Day, June 16, 2013.
Marie was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on 11/02/1921 to Angelina Capone, 1902-1930.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Dorothy Linkenheimer and Jim Cannelongo. Survivors are daughters Roberta Cannelongo & Anita Golden, 5 grand children, Domonique & Angelica Cannelongo, Eli Traufield, Derek and Andrea Golden & 4 great grand kids.
Marie celebrated her Italian heritage with her love of opera, poetry, writings and fine Italian cooking. She loved traveling, antiquing, dancing, singing, going to the theatre and being involved in the Catholic Church's choir, singing soprano solos and Marie had enough energy to work full time as well as raise three very challenging girls.
Marie's gentle kind spirit will live on in the memories of all that knew her.
You are now our angel sweet momma, heaven is meant for you.
Marie's family want to thank the wonderful staff at Good Samaritan's in F.C. for the loving care they gave her for the last 3 1/2 years! We are forever grateful.
