Marilynn Helene Walker, 87, of Fort Collins, CO passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, within her residence at MacKenzie Place. She was born on July 28, 1936, in Chicago, IL to George and Josephine (Cabay) Huber. Marilynn had one brother, Norbert Huber. She attended Resurrection High School.

On February 15, 1958, Marilynn married Ralph John Walker at Saint John Cantius in Chicago, IL. Together, they had 6 children, Amy, Anne, Nancie, Paul, John, and Martha.

Marilynn had a love for singing, dancing, and babies. She loved all types of music and sang in church choirs wherever she resided. Her residences included Elk Grove Village, IL, Marietta, GA, Hoschton, GA, Fort Meyers, FL, and Fort Collins, CO.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Walker, brother Norbert Hube,r and her son-in-law, Roger Dannhorn.

Surviving Marilynn are her children, Amy (Jeff) Stewart of Normal, IL, Anne (Gary) Megson of Fort Meyers, FL, Nancie Dannhorn of Schaumburg, IL, Paul (Mary Beth) Walker of Fort Collins, CO, John (Sandy) Walker of Palatine, IL, and Martha Walker (Peter Thoss) of Plainfield, IL; grandchildren, Jake (Jessica) Stewart, Luke (Kait) Stewart, Brock (Chrissy) Stewart, Alexis (Kevin) Wilson, Madelaine Walker, Megan (Clay Shelton), Aaron Walker, Kayleigh Megson, Joe Comparini, Kelsey Megson (Ryan Plosinski), Ben Walker, and Mallory Walker; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn Stewart, Eleanor Stewart, Bennett Stewart, Jett Stewart, Cal Stewart, and Noelle Shelton.

A Celebration of Life is planned for July 13, 2024, in Illinois; further details in progress.

Marilynn's family would like to give special thanks to all the caregivers of MacKenzie Place and Bristol Hospice.
