Marjorie Ann (Etter) Kroker

Margie passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born in Salem, Oregon on February 22, 1945.

Margie lived most of her life in Oregon and Washington, where she found joy in the beauty of nature, especially visiting the beach and enjoying the wildlife and flowers in her own yard. She loved watching and filming birds, bunnies, and deer right at home. She spent the final year and a half of her life in Colorado, where she enjoyed the mountains and watching elk.

A very intelligent, hardworking, and resourceful woman, Margie successfully ran a small business and was known for her creativity and problem-solving skills. She often found clever ways to repair and fix things around her home. She spent countless hours on landscaping projects, beautifying her yard in Oregon, and took pride in creating and caring for outdoor spaces through her own dedication and care.

Margie was a strong woman who faced life's hardships with resilience, determination, and grace. She was very patriotic and held a deep love and respect for her country. Her faith and spiritual beliefs were a source of comfort and guidance throughout her life, helping her remain grounded and hopeful through both joyful and challenging times.

Margie valued time spent with others and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, sharing laughter and companionship during those gatherings.

She is survived by four children, two stepchildren, fifteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Family was central to her life, and her love and influence will continue through generations.

Margie will be laid to rest alongside her mother and other family members at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence, Oregon. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, creativity, and love of nature. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
