Mark Delauter

Mark Alan DeLauter, age 57, of Fort Collins died April 13, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 3:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 301 East Drake Road, Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mark's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Goes Funeral Care. Mark was born on March 13, 1953 in Cloquet, Minnesota to David and Gloria DeLauter. He grew up in Casper, Wyoming and after graduating from high school attended Casper Community College for two years. He married Cathy Thompson on April 26, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mark worked for 18 years as Western Regional Sales Manager for Triten Corp., based out of Houston, TX. Mark and Cathy moved to Fort Collins in 2001. His passion was golf and had played nearly every course on the British Open tour. Mark was patriotic and a very giving man who couldn't say no to a charity. A bigger than life man, he made an impact on those around him and he would say he, "Never met a stranger". Mark was a jokester, a maker of many things and a Master Griller. Mark was the love of Cathy's life and soul mate. Mark is survived by his wife, Cathy; two sons, Jordan and Colton; one daughter, Christine (and Jeff Irene), all of Casper, WY; two brothers, David of Casper, WY and Jeffrey of Dacono, CO and three grandchildren, Noah DeWitt, Ellie Irene and Madeline Irene. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven.
