Mark Murray

Mark Murray, 65, died in his sleep early Sunday morning, November 2nd, of a heart attack. Mark was born on November 10, 1959 in St. Paul, MN. He lived in St. Paul, Pittsburgh, and Denver before moving to West Shokan, NY at the age of 13. In 1986 on a trip to Durango, CO he met his spouse, Peggy Rice Murray. Mark and Peggy were married in 1988 and moved to Fort Collins. Mark retired in 2022 after 27 years at Advanced Energy.

Mark is survived by his wife, Peggy, his mother, Elise Taylor, his brother, Mike (Chris), Peggy's siblings: Kathy (Chuck), Mary Beth (Bill), Jeannette (Lorrie), Gene, Jim (Joy), Patricia (Bob), David (Lucy), and Steven. Mark and Peggy's cats, Sam and Sasha are lost without him. He was predeceased by his father, Hal Murray, mother and father-in-law, Kathy and Gene Rice, and brother-in-law, Daniel Rice.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 3pm at The Agave Room (above the Rio Grande), 149 W. Mountain Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
