Mark Donald Slack

Mark Donald Slack, 52 of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed on to Heaven on August 8th 2014. He was born on December 20th 1961 to Claude Donald and Shirly Fae (Hutchinson) Slack in Gothenburg, Nebraska. He was raised with his sisters Cindy, Kendra, Melody and Rhonda. Growing up, Mark loved motocross racing and together with his father, they modified and raced tractors and later they competed in car racing; it was a hobby they shared for 11 years.

Mark attended high school in Fort Morgan, Colorado where he later met and married Tammy (Gallatin) Slack; they were married for 10 years. On November 2nd 1987, the couple was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Tiffany Marie Slack and one year later, on December 7th 1988, their son, Travis Michael Slack was born. Mark also became the proud father of Krystal Foote, Brandy Foote, Mary Foote and Dean Foote, Jr. He honorably served in the 96th United States Army Reserve Command. Then on February 1st 2011, he married his very loving wife, Deloris "Tinsky" (Moran) Slack; who never once left his side.

He had many wonderful hobbies including, stock car racing, fishing, watching football. But the most cherished time for Mark, was spending lots of time with his grandchildren. Bella and Junior, constantly had him on the go.

Mark will be dearly missed and will be survived by his wife, Deloris; parents, Claude & Shirly; sisters, Cindy Williams, Kendra Aaron, Melody Rogers, Rhonda Daule; children, Travis Michael (Kristina) Slack, Tiffany Marie Slack, Krystal Foote, Brandy Foote, Mary Foote and Dean Foote Jr.; grandchildren, Arabella, Travis Jr., Bailey Weston, Anevay, Damian & Ayriana and many nephews & nieces.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenith & Eva Slack and sister, Pamela Sue Slack of Gothenburg, Nebraska.
