Mark Eugene Starlin

Mark Eugene Starlin, 63, of Loveland, Colorado died March 11, 2014. He was born on
December 3,1950 to Melvin Eugene and Marilyn Gene (Nelson) Starlin of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Mark spent his childhood with his brother, Greg and sister, Suzie. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1968 and attended Peru State College where he was awarded a football scholarship. After graduation, Mark moved to Colorado where he was employed with Woodward Governor. Mark lived in Masonville and Greeley, Colorado, but his heart was always in Buckhorn Canyon.

Mark was an outdoors-man; he loved horses and guns. He also had a kind heart and was charitable, especially to the Stove Prairie Community Church and Capital City Christian Church.

Mark is survived by his father, Melvin Starlin; his children, Marly Hurst (Starlin,) Nick Starlin, Kim Gocchi Carrasco (Starlin) and Jeffery Starlin; his grandchildren, Kailey Starlin, Collin Robbins, Maizy Hurst, Iris Starlin-Hintz, Hayden Hurst, Jarrett Starlin, Colton Starlin and Grayson Starlin; his brother Greg Starlin and sister, Suzie Rottinghaus.

Mark is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Starlin (Nelson.)
