Fort Collins resident Marquietta Robinson passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Marquietta Ilene Blanchard was born September 14, 1929, in Benkelman, Nebraska, the daughter of Minnie M. (Bowers) and Dr. Louis F. Blanchard.
She was married to Roy McCoy. To Raymond L. Woods, to which this marriage would have four children, Steve, Roger, Carlene, and Ron. They would later divorce. She would later marry Harold Robinson.
Preceding Marquietta in death are her parents, her first husband Roy McCoy, husband Raymond L. Woods, and husband Harold Robinson. She is also preceded by her siblings Birdenna Boswell and Neil "Doc" Blanchard.
Surviving family members are her four children and their families; Steve Woods (son) and his sons Dr. Trey W. Woods and his son Owen, and Clinton R. Woods and his daughters Cierra and McKenzie. Roger Woods (son) and his wife Rita have three children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren. Carlene Woods (daughter). Ron Woods (son) and his children Shawn A. Woods, Jennifer L. Woods, Ashley J. Woods, Hannah S. Woods, and Sylvia I. Woods. Ron 's grandchildren Kassasidy, Mason, Auden, and River. Marquietta is also survived by two nephews Kent and Lynn Boswell.
Cremation was chosen and her remains will be scattered in Rocky Mountain National Park.
