Mary Lou Bennett, 91, of Fort Collins, died July 28, 2019. She was born October 13, 1927 in Higgins, Texas, the daughter of Carl and Cleota Brown. She attended Woodward High School, graduating in 1945, and attended Wichita Business College. Mary Lou returned to Woodward and worked for William Auto Co. for three years. On September 18, 1949 she married Dean Bennett of Seiling, Oklahoma. They moved to Liberal, Kansas in 1955.
Mary Lou is survived by her sons, Phillip Bennett of Atwood, Kansas; and Jim Bennett and his wife Pam of Bellvue, Colorado; two grand-daughters, Savannah and Caitlin Bennett of Fort Collins, Colorado; and one great-grandchild, Hattie Pettus. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dean Bennett.
