Mary Louise Huelsman

Nov 11, 1952 — Feb 26, 2014

Mary Lou Huelsman, 61, was called home by our Lord and Savior unexpectedly and peacefully while she slept the morning of February 26, 2014 at her home in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born to Lawrence and Anna Mae (Saindon) Rumback on November 11, 1952 in Hoxie, Kansas.
Mary Lou graduated from Oakley High School (Class of 1971) in Oakley, Kansas and attended Colby Community College in Colby, Kansas. She later finished her associate's degree in business management at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Sam Huelsman and Mary Lou Rumback were married on October 14, 1972 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oakley, Kansas. Mary Lou made her own wedding dress. They lived in Oakley and Goodland, Kansas before moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in February 1978.
One of Mary Lou's greatest joys was her two grandchildren, Devan and Bethany. She often expressed her pride in Devan's sports accomplishments and his recent induction into the US Army. Bethany became her shopping pal and her partner in all things girlie.
The best way to describe Mary Lou's early occupation is "Management." She worked as a manager in several different lines of businesses. Later she utilized her sewing skills to design and sew her personal line of "Princess Purses" which evolved to include multiple crafts.
She was active at Mountain Life Church in Fort Collins, Colorado often serving as a greeter with Sam.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband Samuel Huelsman of Ft. Collins, Colorado, daughter Heather Huelsman of Greeley, Colorado, daughter Christy (Stuart) Mock of Evans, Colorado, grandson Devan Mock and granddaughter Bethany Mock both of Evans, Colorado and her beloved companion dog, Ollie. She is also survived by her parents, Lawrence and Anna Mae Rumback of Phoenix, Arizona; brother Duane "Colby" (Joan) Rumback of Phoenix, Arizona, Gayle (Nick) Imm of Phoenix, Arizona, Brenda (Lonnie) Kinderknecht of Colby, Kansas, Denise (Dean) Baker of Phoenix, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.
