Mary Lillian Morrison, formerly of Scottsbluff, passed away peacefully in Ft. Collins, Colorado on May 22. Mary was the middle of 5 children and was raised in Colorado. She married Marks O. Morrison on December 21, 1947. They were married nearly 70 years. Marks & Mary had 3 daughters, whom they raised in western Nebraska.
Mary was always supportive of her family and their activities; whether it was hosting her husband's business associates or assisting with school and church functions during her girls' school years. Many happy memories were developed with her bridge group friends, her special mothers'-day-off companions and at 4th of July celebrations at Little Moon Lake. Mary was a woman of style and grace and the consummate hostess. Marks and Mary traveled the world and enjoyed many vacations with their daughters and their families.
After raising their family, Marks and Mary spent their later years in Colorado. Friends were very important to Mary and she cultivated those friendships her entire life. Mary also enjoyed knitting, creating personalized cards featuring her photography, and researching her family's genealogy.
Mary is survived by her husband, Marks, daughters Anne (Clifford James), Joan (Rodney Krebs), Barbara (Trent Weaver), 5 grandchildren, 8.5 great grandchildren and two sisters. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother. According to Mary's wishes, no services will be held.
