Mary Ellen Mullen

Mary Ellen (Pace) Mullen passed from this life on September 9, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Duane R. Mullen. They lived for many years in Decatur, IL where they were members of Grace Baptist Church, then upon moving to Orange Park, FL they joined First Coast Baptist Church.

Mary was born on June 30, 1943, to the late William and Ruby (Fricks) Pace. She was preceded in death by her brother, John (Betty) Pace, sisters Irene (Tom) Eubanks, Elaine Pace, and June (Carl) Elliott, daughter Michelle (Michael) Barker and great-granddaughter Teegan Elaine LaMar. She is survived by her sisters Dora (Pal) Haynes and Ann (Charles) Reynolds.

She will forever be cherished by her surviving children: Patricia (Troy) Cummings of Colorado, Kathryn (Mike) Wooley of Tennessee, and Robert (Missy) Mullen of Florida. She was known as Nanny to her 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren having shared her love of knitting by gifting beautiful blankets to each one.
