Mary Tomlinson

Mary Kay (Goodwin) Tomlinson, PhD, born December 12, 1954, passed peacefully into the Lord's arms on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at her home in Loveland, Colorado, surrounded by family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Tomlinson, her father, Robert Goodwin, and her nephew, Eric Goodwin. She is survived by her life partner, Bernard Boone; by her mother, Kathryn Goodwin; brothers James "Jim" Goodwin, William "Bill" Goodwin, Thomas "Tom" Goodwin, and Richard "Rick" Goodwin, along with their respective spouses and children. Mary was adored by her many nieces and nephews, and godchildren. She was well respected in her community and church. Her compassionate dedication to the less fortunate was well known, as evidenced by her deep involvement with horse riding for the disabled and search and rescue. Mary's love for all things living, especially her beloved horses and dogs, will continue to be remembered by all. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered for Mary by Rev. Sam Morehead on Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Loveland. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 4, 10 am, at Mary's home, the Double T Ranch, 17375 West County Rd. 18E, Loveland.  All are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers it was Mary's wish that you please make a donation in her memory to your favorite non-profit or charity that serves mankind or animals in need.
