Mary Elizabeth Wolfe, 88, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away Saturday October 26, 2013.
Mary was born January 10, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to Edgar and Nellie Wolfe.
She received her master's degree in music education from Columbia University, with study at Julliard.
She went on to earn a master's degree in special education from Marshall
University, West Virginia. She was a Sister in the Dominican Order of
Adrian, Michigan.
Mary was a lifelong educator. As such, she taught students of all ages. She was Vice-President of St. Dominic's College, St. Charles, IL. She was the Publications Director at American
Educational Research Association and the Council for Exceptional Children.
She administered the master's education program at Central Michigan University at McGuire AFB. She was a consultant to the New Jersey Department of Education, as well as,
numerous individual school districts in New Jersey. She also consulted with the Halifax Department of Education, Nova Scotia.
Mary happily gave to others of her time and service.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Nellie Wolfe and siblings, Caelan Wolfe, Edgar Wolfe, Jr. and Jean Dagnillo.
She is survived by many loving friends and family members; especially her great friend, Mary Jane Ward of Fort Collins and Mindy, the cat.
